The stage/site; It takes a 40-minute bus ride to get to Stretford from Central Manchester, a 'passing through' town to get to Manchester United's Old Trafford Stadium and intu Trafford Centre, Sale and Altrincham. Busy highways cross through, motorcars rarely stopping. Placed under the metropolitan borough of Trafford, Stretford feels rather uncelebrated, and yet during interactions, there is a strong sense of community present in the awareness of the recently approved masterplan in 2014 and their concern for this place called home.
